Updates

A quick update: Holly is now 4 months and 3 weeks old. When she went in for her 4 month Dr. appt. she weighed 11.5 lbs and was 23 1/4 in. long. She is starting to roll over - if not easily - then with lots of effort and grunting!!! She sleeps for about 4 hour increments at night usually totalling about 12 hours. Naps are a different story: 15-30 min max, unless she is in her carseat! The same carseat she used to hate is now her favorite place to sleep. On a walk, in the car, or running errands, carseat naps can last up to 2 hours. The previously dreaded car rides are now peaceful and usually result in sleep. She is still loving the rice cereal, and takes about 3 teaspoons once a day (not including the large amount smeared all over her face and bib)! She is a very alert and somewhat "serious" baby! She loves to just look around and take everything in. She is "talking", but not a whole lot. She likes to suck in her lower lip and say "Mmmmm.....mmmm"! She likes to cuddle and touch her cheek to yours. Her favorite toy is still Glowy the Glow Worm and her favorite books are I'll Teach my Dog alot of Words and Brown Bear, Brown Bear....it is so cute to see her smile when she sees "goldfish, goldfish"! She is more fun with each passing day, and we just can't get enough of her smiles and giggles!

One day that Holly boycotted her naps, she finally got so tired she passed out underneath her playmat for almost an hour.....her sleeping face was so sweet, I couldn't resist a picture or two!

Holly is happy when she eats her cereal...and would be even happier if she could feed herself !

Or is it simply and new found love for spoons?
Our little girl is growing up! She and Glowy can now hold hands!
She can also hold hands with her friend, Emma!

Holly still loves her bath, so we knew that she would probably enjoy swimming, but she LOVED it! Adorable suit, but next time she asked if she could wear her little baby bikini that our friends Megan and Rob gave us....stay tuned for those pics!
