Fall Fun!

We have been trying to enjoy the beautiful Fall colors despite the not so beautiful weather! Over Columbus day we took our first road trip to Door County and stayed in Ephraim. Although the weather didn't cooperate we had a great time playing with Holly in front of the fire in our cozy condo and taking her for her first hike in between the rains.

The car is packed! (Can a three day road trip really necessitate this much STUFF?)

Holly is ready to go! Despite her hatred of car rides, the white noise of the highway lullled her to sleep for the 4 1/2 hour ride there and back....much to the relief of mom and dad!

Before the rain, Holly takes her first hike.....and promptly falls asleep!Holly didn't let the rain and sleet get her down...it seems playing with mom and dad was way more exciting than hiking!
